| Mourning Song
I wrote this in the midst of reconciling some memories last night. It's always better to walk in truth and reality than in a fantasyland... Mourning Song O Nightingale, Nightingale Song-singer of the night Your sweet melody’s needed To make peace of this plight My memories are crumbling They’re not what they seemed Light’s turning to darkness Can this be redeemed? A sledge to this one A scream as it crashes Tears racing down cheeks Dripping off of eyelashes O Nightingale, Nightingale I need you to stay Your song is now needed As I kneel down to pray How much was truth And what was deceit? This leaving denial Will be quite a feat But leave it I must If I'm to move on For all of these years Could I ‘ave been so wrong? O Nightingale, Nightingale Song-singer of the night Your sweet melody carries This pain out of sight by - Andrea B. 2/17/06 Copyright 2006 |

there is no deceit only reality, and no denial till you realize it, ya think, im crying too anyway. i wish someone would close my eyes so I could see again. How much joy there is when I forget to the lullaby of beauty and Gods touch. I want to keep it so bad but I also cant live without truth, I cant find it either which means im sort of dead.
