| Thankful for our Veterans | ANOTHER YEAR Today I begin my new year, and every day I arise from my bed. I'll give thanks to what lies ahead. No looking back and wishing instead.Another year is winding down and I sit back and reflect of the year gone by. Did I do my best to help others along their way? Did I even try? Was I so concernened about my load they escaped my eye? As I look back to the year that's past, how it's went by so fast. Did I take time to count my blessings? Was I so busy counting sorrows? Not living today but for my tomorrows? So, I start my New Years resolution today. No longer am I an actor alone in a play. Everyone I meet from now on, plays a part. What better time then now to start! Today, I count the minutes in each hour. Knowing that after the snow of winter will soon bring springs flower. I'll no longer grumble about the freezing cold, nor, will I complain in the summer of feeling old. Today, I'll give thanks for the colors of the sunrise that caught my eyes. I'll give thanks for the sunset in the western skies. Most of all I'll give thanks to our Creator, for being so wise!!
