For those of us who tend to compare....

I received this today in an e-mail......I don't know who the author is but I sure do like it!!

Happy Holidays to all of you.......:elfman

Someone will always be smarter. Their house will be bigger. They will drive a better car. Their children will do better in school. And their partners will fix more things around the house. So let it go and love you and your circumstances. Think about it. The prettiest woman/most handsome man in the world can have hell in her/his heart. And the most highly favored person on your job may be unable to have children. The richest person you know - has the car, the house, the clothes - might be heartbreakingly lonely. So, love you. Love who you are right now. Tell yourself, "I am too blessed to be stressed." Be blessed friends, and pass this on to encourage another. "To the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world."

Once you give up on the notion material things make you happy, your life becomes so much more blissful.

The older you are the less you really need and want if, you're lucky

Hey skinner,
That was beautiful! It really makes you think about the blessings in your life. When you get right down to it, your life is the one you would choose ( for the most part anyway ) Thanks for the dose of inspiration. Happy new year skinner!!!!
