Non-believers

I don't believe in God and I have no interest in religion. I could no more believe in a supreme God than in Spiderman or Father Christmas.
I'd like some help from other humans, not Gods - I want to be able to talk honestly - to tell the truth - to swear if I need to.
Mental health problems and addiction problems are a cold reality - and are caused by deep rooted trauma - prayers are a waste of my time - I want honest advice, based on experience - not on the bible.

I know I don't belong here on this forum - the only person I could relate to was Tyler and now he seems to have gone.

You all seem very happy - and I'm happy for you - but can you make room for non-believers?
If not - any directions?
Karl

((((Karl)))))

I believe you need a ((((((bighug))))))). The thing is the stuff you are talking about is about the spirit. The spirit gets sick with addiction. I ain't talking about any God right now. If I was talking I would be talking about the stuff that is a part of you that many people cannot see. The part of you that most people cannot see is a form of energy and this energy can short out and become blocked as a result of deep trauma to the emotional body that surrounds your phyiscal body. Sort of a disconnection results in addiction we have to do something that makes us feel connected so we drug and drink and sex and gamble and eat and obcess about how we control it or try to. I can feel your pain all the way thru this computer. You are connected to me and I am connected to you and I want you to know that I am here and so are the rest of the people who come here we are all connected. Even if you cannot feel it or acknowledge it... I don't care if you have to use a few choice words to be able to say how you feel but, we do have to be considerate of others here too because some people are offended by course words. That's why we alter words with @#$%* so that peole can get the jest.... you can write a$$hole,cr@p,$hit,f^cker,d@mm and get your point across. We want you to stay if you need to or want to.

Come on and let us love you and you love us so we can all get well cause that is what we are here for....

Karl

Hi am new...I just wanted to let you know that Jesus can save your soul from damnation.
Just kidding...thought you might like a quote.

Everything is determined by forces over which we have no control. It is determined for the insect as well as for the star. Human beings, vegetables, or cosmic dust - we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by an invisible piper.
Albert Einstein

Maybe you can just believe in an invisible piper?

Is this enough? *LOL*

So grateful for all who have come before me. The bench is smooth now. No splinters.
