God made Himself known to me tonight
Again He has provided me a guiding Light
Fear that had gripped me of speaking out
He lifted, and my emotions they did spout

This crippling fear had me in deep despair
Never would I have volunteered to share
But God caused the speaker to call on me
Face burning hot I did reluctantly agree

Emotions came out through my fear
I felt His presence was so very near
Tripping over my tongue, I got through
And did something I thought I’d never do

When my words stopped spilling out
I knew He was with me without a doubt
My soul felt cleansed, and I felt love
I thank you God for the gentle shove

So though it may only appear a small sign
He again reminded me of His greatness divine
To me it is momentous to be free of this fear
With God by our side we will all persevere
