| Stepping Stone!
Isn't it strange how princes and kings, and clowns that caper in sawdust rings, and common people, like you and me, are builders for eternity? Each is given a list of rules; a shapeless mass; a bag of tools. And each must fashion, ere life is flown, A stumbling block, or a Stepping-Stone. --R L Sharpe No more stumbling blocks for me! Just poured my first stepping stone... Anyone wanna put a handprint in it while the concrete is still wet?

And so we are all given the stepping stones, they are ours to arrange in a path moving us ever closer to our Higher Power. Thank you for sharing this. I offer my hand for a print in the freshly poured cement of a new day.

[QUOTE=_If_] and common people, like you and me, are builders for eternity? a shapeless mass; a bag of tools. These two stand out for me right now. I've been given more/new tools to further my recovery ministry at church. There was a time that I thought the God would never use someone like me to further His kingdom. The Bible says that God uses the foolish things, so that no one may boast before Him (paraphrased from 1 Cor. 1:27), I'm living proof of that ! LOL
