| To Not Be The Strong One (Geez I hope this will finally POST!!)
I've tried four times now to post a poem here....let me try again!!!! This is one of mine. I previously posted it on narc-anon. I hope you enjoy it! ************* To Not Be The Strong One To lay my burdens down at your feet and walk away, able to breath in more than shallow, hurried air. ~ To drift peacefully over the waves of lucid sleep, instead of dragged through restless hauntings in the darkness. ~ To dissolve into tears until I taste the ocean on my lips and the breeze of comforts on my cheeks. ~ To not have to pick up any pieces, make any excuses, or tell any lies. ~ To feel watched over, looked after and protected from anything and everything in my life. ~ To reach out in a storm and feel you near, instead of catching lighted glimpses cringing through the thunder. ~ To not be the strong one...just once |

Moody That is wonderful. Really great, Thank you so much for making the effort to get it here, even when it didn't want to post. I am printing it out as a "keeper". Thank you.
