| Poem titled Confusion
Life is so confusing. I think i know what I want, But when I get it I am still not happy. I don't look at my life as easy. I don't look at it as beautiful. I try so hard, but still can't get an A in math. I think I know what I was talking about but the teacher says no. I thought I knew who my friend was but she turned out not to be my friend. I thought I could hide all the secrets and no one would know I thought no one could see my pain. I thought my friend would not tell a secret of mine. But another friend comes up to me and says are you starving yourself? Now I knew my secret was out. I thought I could hide the pain inside but my friends knew I was in pain. I thought my friends would turn away and a few did, But my friends are still my friends through the secrets, the lies, and rough times. I guess I have some great friends. I guess life is confusing but if you listen to your heart the confusion goes away and the truth comes out and everything will always work out. I don't hide behind the pain and I will see the light in the end. By: Shana, 19
