I guess I would have to say one of my all time favorite quotes is, "When one door closes another one opens." I always think about this when something doesn't go right and it helps me to deal with things just a little better |

I like so many, but for today I have two If you love someone, the greatest gift you can give them is your presence. There is something about a closet that makes a skeleton restless. My use of drugs took me away from my family, because I felt shame and guilt, I hid it from everyone... Until now.

Well, I'd have to say that I have a couple that I like. The first one is one that I hve lived by most of my life: "If you love something set it free, If it comes back, it was meant to be!" That has made me remember not to possesive in my relationships reguarding family or friends. Give them love and then the space they need to grow and be themselves and not be smothed or confined. And the other: "The sun always rises, and a new day begins." This one has become important to me in the last few years as I struggle to change my life and myself . Realizing that if I faulter I can start a new day with a new attitude, and put the past where it belongs.

Practice makes better. Helps me to remember I don't have to try to be perfect. And - Keep coming back, it works if you work it, so work it cause you are WORTH it!

I have more than one: "Use adversity" -(My favorite motto.) "Sleep of reason creates monsters" -Goya "If you have a problem and there *is* a solution, why worry? If you have a problem and there is *no* solution, why worry?" -Dalai Lama "To fear love is to fear life, and those who fear life are already three parts dead." Bertrand Russell. "They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself." - Andy Warhol. "Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend." -Albert Camus. Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems."- Descartes. "You do ill if you praise, but worse if you censure, what you do not understand." Leonardo da Vinci. Quote:

PONY, you beat me to my own favourite "If you love something set it free, If it comes back, it was meant to be!" If nothing changes - nothing changes Whenever I have a problem, I ask myself, 'What would an adult do?' Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. Was it worth it? Worry never takes the sorrow out of tomorrow, it just saps today of its strengh. If your going to worry, there's no need to pray and if your going to pray, there's no need to worry. A young alateen guy asked me at a convention years ago, "What were you worrying about this time last week?" When I answered, "I have no idea, I can't remember" He said, "Well, there ya go, then - it wasn't really worth worrying about was it?" |

I enjoy reading all these quotes! here's one of my all time favorites... When you find the way others will find you. Passing by on the road they will be drawn to your door. The way that cannot be heard will be echoed in your voice. The way that cannot be seen will be reflected in your eyes. ~Lao-tzu

When children learn that happiness is not found in what they have but in who that person is - They will be blessings to those who know them and worthy models for all the world. Adversity is the trial of principle. Without it a man hardly knows whether he is honest or not. |
