Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way. -Martin Luther King Jr., civil-rights leader (1929-1968) Illegal aliens have always been a problem in the United States. Ask any Indian. -Robert Orben, magician and author (b. 1927)

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. ~Winston Churchill

| Favorite Quotations I LOVE quotations!!! I came across the following quotation during a recent trip to Barnes & Noble while perusing their inventory. "And I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.'" - Kurt Vonnegut Man Without A Country |

God is a commedian playing to an audience that is afraid to laugh. Voltaire said it, i like it because it reminds me to lighten up and enjoy the world in which i live and not take everything so seriously. |
