are u nocturnal, is it u not letting me sleep?
Did God kick u out of heaven like he already did me?
You look like an angel in disguise, feel good for an hour then
try to get by.
Do you prey on the weak?
Do you prey on the empty?
I beg u to stop, You've already done plenty.

Its hard to ignore me, when I wont let you sleep.
You need to sleep to forget me don't you?

Sooth your aches and help you forget
You wont last much longer, you're weaker than me

Thats what came to me on night 2 of withdrawal.

Now, 7 days clean it goes a little summin like;


Hey Mr Codeine how you coping without me?
Thats a shame, you've only got yourself to blame
you first masked my pain for your own selfish gain
Guess what? Aint happening again
No more creeping up on me
I've replaced you with a box of green tea
Now I can work on making myself happy
I pray we never meet again
not guaranteed but until then
