We have taller buildings and shorter tempers, Wider freeways but narrower view points We spend more to have less Have bigger homes and smaller families More convienyences and less time,More medacin and less wellness, We learned to make a living but not a life,Added years to life but not life to yrs We've been to the moon yet we have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor,We clean the air but pollute the soul,We conquered the atom but not our predjudises,There is fast food and slow digestion,Big men with small charactors Steep profits but shallow relationships,Two incomes and more bankrupcy,Fancier houses with broken homes,We build more computers to hold more info, to learn more things, but talk less and less, These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throw away mortallity, one night stands and Pills for everything from cheer to quiet to kill.......... Screwed Up Times Indeed!!! :wtf2 |
