| KCB.com/justfortoday :-) | First Time
Standing scared at an unfamiliar door With one foot barely over the threshold Considering turning round and running Avoiding eye contact in the hope That I will be invisible Knowing that I need to be there Scared of the implications of leaving Feeling so exposed and fragile Trying to calm my racing heart A stranger reaches out a hand Welcoming me and offering me a hug Suddenly I feel drawn to this room I feel like I belong here Sitting down I notice smiling faces Then begins, my first AA meeting.
