I love it when the 'underdog' comes roaring back to bite your expectations and predjudices in the @ss! Yes, she has an amazing voice. I was bowled over listening to her. I paid little attention to her appearance cause I consider my appearance to be rather nondescript so have never given much weight to looks. I hope she gets a great recording contract out of this. She got a great article in the New York Times yesterday.
