TRANSITION Fog covers the horizon Blindly I find my way Past the familiar, far beyond The comfort zone of yesterday After a time, a day, a week The clouds begin to lift Heat rises, doors open Within solitude, my gift My journey is aimless But it is all mine My path paved with freedom Of my own design Away from the memories Of friends who were fake I seek a new perspective Overcome by heartache I shall walk past the pain I have another chance To complete the transition Free from bondage, I can dance I have found libertation A new reality No longer a possession I have reclaimed me |
