| The Eskimo
[FONT="Comic Sans MS"][/FONTJust what is it that motivates people to attempt the impossible & actually succeed? Sometimes I wonder about that first Eskimo, standing on that iceberg with his big hairy dog at one hand and his spindly little kayak at the other. It is very could. He can see his breath. He gazes at the horizon, and lo! behold! a great enormous whale breaching the waters. He regards this for a moment, he squints his eyes and scratches his chin. He ponders. He spits the snow, and hitches up his furry pants. And then r-e-e-e-a-l quiet he says to the whale: "I'm gonna eatyou." What inspires such heroic ventures? I think he was just hungry enough to try.
