well.....these words came to me. I haven't written any poetry since I wrote a poem to my hubby a long time ago.

Just my feelings at the moment.

As the night goes on
I sit, thinking, just thinking
of what the future may bring
as I think, I don't want to sing
perhaps I should

My life isn't so bad
people feel bad for me
they really shouldn't
I've grown
I think its shown

I feel happiness
I feel pain
I am alive and that is joy
I will feel good
perhaps I should

Wow, I think that is very good!! You got an awful lot of emotion in a little bit of space, that is hard to do!! I think it really reflects true growth and inspiration. I loved reading it!!

As I think - still thinking - not a good thing, I have finally come to the conclusion.

My words are just not happy.

<center>Moon

Always a full moon and the consequences linger
after the moon is not showing and doesn't get any bigger

Howling doesn't help nor does the feeling of confusion
as my head spins around the earth or perhaps a wave in the ocean

The feeling isn't likely to linger on forever here
but when will it stop, as it continues I feel fear

Am I alone in this feeling, I am the only one to cry
no, there are many who feel the same as I

This too shall pass, perhaps when the moon is blue

Your poems have a definite reality to them, but also a kind of peace...I really do enjoy reading them. It reafirms that it is ok to feel, and that this is a true growth process. Your words are very inspiring to me, and thank you for sharing so much of yourself here with us.
