I've started doing a twice daily gratitude, but I want to post a daily affirmation as well. Anyone else is welcome to post here too.
I admit I am powerless over alcohol, but there are a lot of really great things about me:
I have a large capacity to love and therefore I am loved by others.
I am a smart and capable woman and am deserving of the business that comes my way, and deserving of the pay that comes with it. I do not need to discount my fees.
I am a beautiful person, both inside and out. I take care of my body with exercise and healthy eating. I take care of my mind by seeking knowledge with daily reading. I take care of my heart and soul by meditating and giving to others.
I am patient and understanding. I give my children quiet guidance and firm support. I provide equally sound and strong support for my friends and other members of my family. I give a helping hand willingly and readily whenever I am needed.
You are what you think about most, so by giving yourself positive affirmations on a daily basis, you become what you think about. So if you want to be more confident, you tell yourself everyday that you are a confident person - then you become confident. That is the purpose of this thread, to instill the positive thoughts for the day. I welcome others to join this thread and add their own positive thoughts. A community of positive thoughts can go a lot further than just a single person's!
Today I will rest in comfort knowing I have done my best.
I have remained honest and trustworthy in the face of attack, and for that I am not only grateful - but I am renewed.
