| Distance makes you.........
Distance makes you like water, you are cool and soothing to me. But when I reach for you, you slip through my fingers. Distance makes you like fire, hot, burning as desire, drawing me to your glow and warmth, But I cannot get close enough to touch you. Distance makes you like the wind. I feel you all around me, I feel you wrap me in sweet sensations that give me cool chills. I can feel you, But yet... I cannot hold you. Distance makes you far from me, But love makes you as close to me, as the earth at my feet, you are my earth. Solid, dependable, and holding me to all that's true.
