Sometimes it takes one sentence to change my entire outlook. Sometimes it takes a glance from a stranger, or a loving touch from a friend. Sometimes I live quickly and take everything for granted. Other times I listen and hear exactly what the message means. Sometimes I think too much and act too soon. At times I forget to breathe and see what is right in front of me. Time goes by and I am still, time goes by and I am manically trying to speed it up. Those times I must stop as the consequence will be overwhelming. Time will be good and time will be bad and time will continue to change. The time is now and it is mine to do with as I choose. This time I choose the good, and positive path that has lead me to where I am now and where I will continue to go.

oh that makes me feel so good that my "poems" offer some insight. i stopped writing years ago when my addiction took off, and am finally starting to get my creativity back!
