| No sleep pattern
My lack of a sleep pattern is getting frustrating. Some nights I can't fall asleep, other nights I wake up and can't get back to sleep. Sometimes I fall asleep in the middle of the day, other times I can't get myself out of bed. For example last night I got to bed about 10pm and fell asleep, then woke up at 2am and couldn't fall asleep again. I got up and then about 1030am I feel asleep and did not wake up until almost 6pm! This is crazy. It is not healthy at all.

I have found that Melatonin helps me on those occasions where I can't fall asleep or stay asleep. It's a natural, non-addictive supplement that you can find at almost any drug store.

for best results, you really should check with your Dr before starting any supplements. What worked for others may not be suitable for you, Mr. S. Maybe a check up is in order anyway? D

I'm a bit late adding to this thread. I have circadian sleep disorder and the symptoms are irregular sleep rhythm. I used to wake up every morning at 3-4 a.m. and not be able to go to sleep. It switched to staying up until 3 a.m. I was all over the map. My goal was to go to sleep before midnight and wake up when the rest of the world did. To help regulate my sleep pattern I use, warm milk, melatonin, relaxation music (Paul Collier), autogenics meditation and a long walk in the morning. I also dim all lights an hour before I intend to go to sleep - no t.v. Google blue light - and - circadian sleep disorder.

That is interesting. I tend to find my energy levels often change. Different days and different times usually. I can only go to sleep when I am tired, and that can be a different times several days in a row.
