Unexpected benefit of Abilify

I've had nightmares ever since childhood. Over the years they've progressed to things like being homeless, or someone trying to kill me. I have no idea where that all comes from, but it's sure not conducive to a restful sleep.

I realized the other day that since the psychiatrist bumped my Abilify to 10 mg a day, I haven't had a single nightmare!

This is huge considering I've had a lifetime of nightmares!

Glad something's workin for you Freedom. I cannot seem to escape them when I actually do get to sleep. It's been troublesome.

I'm invested in my anti-d now though, so I'm not going to go and change things around. Probably would not turn out well.

P.S. - Goliath wants to play with your goofy greyhound.

Isn't it exhausting to have nightmares?! This is all new to me, having restful sleep for a change. I hope your anti-d is helping. I'm on two of those too, and the Abilify was added to "boost" them as they had quit working.

My goofy greyhound says he'll race Goliath!

I think Randy would win that one... greyhounds got big long legs, blue heelers got short stumpy legs. Haha

It is quite exhausting to have nightmares! I hope I can get to sleep tonight and sleep peacefully... have a nice night!

Don't underestimate your heeler! Back when I had my little terrier mix Pikachu, she figured out if she cut across the dirt "track" the dogs had worn in the ground, she'd come out front for a few seconds at least!
