| Quick Question
How bad is the xanax detox? ive been taking them for quit some time for sleep. I take about 2mgs a day. im trying to quit doing everything all together. The reason i looked for this forum was because last night i binged out, drank..did some cocaine and took two 4bars. Im still feeling the effects of them but ive never actually detoxed off them. I guess since i pop them regularly. What should i be expecting? |

You shouldn't expect to have to much fun. I would talk to a Dr even if you were getting the Xanax illegaly. Benzo withdrawl is nothing comfortable and can be downright dangerous (and fatal in extreme cases). Goodluck and find peace in knowing you're not alone.

ill let u know how i feel when they start wearing off. What made me realize i need to stop is that i spent alot of money last night that i had just earned. I lost my car keys...thats extra money to get some new ones. Inside my car are customers computers that i had just picked up so i could fix them today. So now their computers are going to be delayed. Ahhh im so ******* frustrated...and all for a nights fun with the guys. |

I am very late responding to this and you are probably off them by now - hopefully. I took xanax every day for months and I had an opiate addiction as well. The benzos were worse to get off of than the opiates. It took 3 MONTHS to get through benzo withdrawals and for a few months after I was STILL unable to sleep and had night terrors. If you are still taking them please be careful. That was my experience - I don't know if it is the same for everyone. I would assume the frequency and dose also play a part in it. |
