This may sound weird, but Does any one else find it harder to sleep when the moon is full? I do. The moon has been full the last few days and I have had a bad case of full on insomnia. |

I've had trouble for the past three nights. The moon is almost last quarter now, and things should settle down soon. Here's an awesome chart I use periodically; http://stardate.org/nightsky/moon/ |

I'm glad you posted this, because I never thought about it. Now, I realize why I didn't sleep much this last week. I do remember working in an ER and I could ALWAYS tell when it was a full moon without ever looking, by the crazy situations that brought people to the ER. And when I worked in neonatal, we were always prepared for a busier-than-normal night when it was a full moon because more babies were born. I think I'll have to check this moon thing out ![]() Hugs and prayers! Amy

i never pay attention to the moon's cycle. I cant sleep randomly enough, no reason for me to associate it with anything. I believe the human mind will reinforce that association and make the problem even worse.
