For a few short weeks I was given a beautiful gift of anticipating being a grandmother. For a few short weeks I finally saw happiness in my daughters eyes after several years of hardship and struggle. For a few short weeks I understood unconditional love all over again. Sadly I share with you that dream won't be realized now anyway as my daughter lost the baby yesterday.

So many of you shared in my happiness and celebration sent me beautiful pm's and emails and even a few cards. I only share my grief with you as you shared in my families celebration. Thank you for those few short weeks.

Life is especially difficult when it takes us up to peaks of joy and then sends us crashing down to harder places.
