My Uncle - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Hello everyone. This morning at about 11, we received a phone call from my aunt saying that my uncle was found dead in his apartment this morning. Cause of death is unknown, but the man had severe medical problems and was on a lot of pills. He was a recovering alcoholic, but he went back to active alcholism. He had fallen into a black hole and today, he rests. Im not crying yet, I'm just more in shock. I'm sure it will hit me after awhile, but I just wanted to get that out. For me, it's not only a sad loss, but a chilling reminder of why im getting clean and sober.
