My best girlfriend of ten years "dumped" me. And that was almost ten years ago! They say it's worse to lose someone if they DON'T die than if they do and I think that must be true because I can't get over the pain. I keep hoping she'll get in touch with me someday. I have dreams about her. I think her choice to not see me anymore had more to do with her issues than anything I actually did, but I'm on my Ninth Step and I wonder if there's something I need to make amends to her for. Or is that just an excuse to contact her? Did you ever have to ask somebody if you owed them an amends? I need some kind of resolution here, 'cause I know I've got a big resentment against her. I just don't know how to handle it...Yes, I've talked to my sponsor and I'm sure we'll talk more about it. I wanted to get some feedback here though, too. Thanks! Love and hugs, Eddie

(((Eddie))) I had a good friend once that dumped me when I got together with my H. Our kids are still good friends... I do not know if your ex-friend turned away from you because she changed or you changed. Did ya'll do dope together? Why don't you just call her and ask her what happened you might be surprized to find out what happened from her point of view...good friends aren't real easy to come by and I am sure you know that by now...
