First Things First - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Hi,
Since my Alkie friend died I've been so 'all over the shop'...I couldn't cope with work & my Dr has said I have 'Major Depression secondary to Greif with anxiety"...forgot to mention 'Recovering Alkie'.

I am trying really hard to work the program & am 2 days off 4 months of sobriety. That's got to be the best part.

My Dr won't give me medication yet & I don't really want it either, could become just another addiciton. I don't have many sober friends yet & have done 2 AA meetings. I find them great but Im just not able to open up to anyone.

Im so grateful to be able to vent here & have had such wonderful support.

We are here to listen and support. Don't rush yourself, you will know when you can open up, you will know it intuitively...Congrats on your 4 months of sobriety, awesome.
