| Great article on dealing with grief and loss
I'm clearly in a stage of grief upon my husband's abandonment. I found this article to be extremely timely, and comforting to me..perhaps it can be to you as well Roya R. Rad, MA, PsyD: 7 Steps for Dealing With Loss and Grief |

thanks for this. i've been having a hard time dealing with sadness (which is to say....i miss him) and had two major losses at once. I've been working hard at dealing with it but i'm traveling right now on business and have been having a tough time getting out of my head. Today has been another one of those days when i just want to see him, ask him how he's doing & listen to what he says. Or pet my cat who recently passed. Both are gone. My cat can't come back, and the ex bf has no interest in a connection with me. both are hard to accept at times. other times, not so much. but either way i find myself missing them both. Anyway, I found this article to be of tremendous help. I have a calmer sensation now after i've read it. I feel more capable and i know i have a good set of tools to bust out here in this hotel room: meditation, and some reading, connecting back with HP & good old fashioned relaxation. It's amazing how much certain reading material (and reconnecting with higher power) can help the grieving process. I definitely feel less alone now - because i'm not alone! And neither are you. Or any of us. Thanks again. |
