Lost another pet

Yeasterday we had to have our little cat Minouche euthanized, she had all kinds of things wrong with her and we'd come to the end of any useful treatment she was only 10 and was my SO's joy, I don't go with the "only a cat" thing she was family and will be sadly missed.

I'm so sorry to hear about Minouche, (((Indigo))).

Sometimes when there are so many things wrong with our furbabies, the kindest, most loving, and yes, most difficult thing to do, is to think about what is best for them as opposed to us. And sometimes that means letting them go so they don't suffer. But, we suffer the loss!

I pray that in time, all the heartfelt memories, and the love you have for her, and she for you and your S/O, will help to replace the pain you are feeling now with love and smiles in your hearts!

P.S. I believe with all my heart that all my furbabies I've lost through the years are waiting for me at The Rainbow Bridge.

I'm sorry, I know it hurts and we're never "ready" to part with our beloved pets.

Thinking of you ...

ooh, sorry Indigo....I've buried a horse, a dog , and three cats over the years and its so hard..... I am just looking over at my girls(cats) as I write this...at least now your little sweetie is no longer hurting and I believe on a spiritual level, they are not far away....

So sorry you lost her. It hurts deep down to the core when we lose a member of our family. Years ago I lost my beloved German Shepherd. This may sound strange but we had a bond beyond earthly realization. That dog was a part of me. I miss her so.

My thoughts of warmth are sent to you and your SO. Love you my dearest Annie.
Peace to Minouche--

Annie -

So sorry about Minouche. I, too, have to believe in the rainbow bridge...otherwise it just hurts too much.

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

I am sorry for your heartache.
I have wondered why a HP could make our pets lives so short in comparission to ours. I finally came up with an answer I could live with: our pets lives are so short to allow us to be blessed by many of them.

I think back over all the pets I have had. They are all a part of who I am today. I find I can learn so much from them. I am blessed to have had each of them in my life. Unfortunately, I was just thinking yesterday about how old my 14 year old beagle is looking, dreading the day she will no longer be with me. Since beagles normally live to be about 14 to 16 I am afraid my time with her is short. Thankfully I have had the past nearly 7 years with her sober where I could actually appreciate what I have.

Indie,
I'm so sorry for the sadness and grief felt over the loss of your Minouche. It's so sad when they become that ill. Am I correct that her name translates to 'cat' or 'kitty'?
my condolences,
(((Indie))) ((((SO))))

I know how you feel, my pets are my family. I lost my dog due to cancer a year ago I had her 13 years. My mother just lost 2 dogs within 10 days of each other. I loved her dogs as much as my own.

I am s sorry

You are right cmc minou is Kitten add the che and it is a childs name for a little cat, it's used in Northern France as a term of endearment.

Thanks everyone I too believe in Rainbow Bridge and that helps a lot.

I'm sorry Annie, I know how painful this is and one day will face the same pain when my Toby goes.

As much as it hurts to lose them, I think it's worth it because of all the love and joy they brought us while they were alive. There is a special bond between our pets and us, and I think it's something good that the universe intended us to have.

Hugs

Indigo,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I know the loss of a pet all too well. You did what was right. You didn't let your furbaby suffer. Extra hugs for you from me and my furbaby, Clive.
