Thinking of you today on the first anniversary of your loss ... may the memories of your son warm your heart and the love and prayers that surround you lift you up. love & prayers ~ deedee ~ In Memory of You ~ I find an old photograph and see your smile. As I feel your presence anew, I am filled with warmth and my heart remembers love. I read an old card sent many years ago during a time of turmoil and confusion. The soothing words written then still caress my spirit and bring me peace. I remember who you used to be the laughter we shared and wonder what you have become. Where are you now, Where did you go, When the body is left behind and the spirit is released to fly? Perhaps you are the morning bird singing joyfully at sunrise, or the butterfly that dances so carelessly on the breeze or the rainbow of colors that brightens a stormy sky or the fingers of afternoon mist delicately reaching over the mountains or the final few rays of the setting sun lighting up the skies edging the clouds with a magical glow. I miss your being but I feel your presence, In whatever form you choose to take, however you now choose to be. Your spirit has become for me a guardian angel on high guiding, advising, and watching over me. I remember you. You are with me and I am not afraid. ~ Kirsti A. Dyer, MD, MS ~

| I love you Josie!!!  God bless the grieving mother... In January as the snow flakes fall... And as a new year dawns... For her memories will comfort her... Through winter, spring, summer, and fall. God bless the grieving mother... In February during the month of love... She sends her hugs..on the wings of a dove... And her kisses are blown to the moon above. God bless the grieving mother... In March and on St Patricks Day... A beautiful rainbow...a symbol of hope... Which colors her world..in a magical way. God bless the grieving mother... On Easter In April as she stops to pray... Thanking God for the gift of everlasting life... Knowing she will be reunited someday. God bless the grieving mother... On Mothers Day and thru the month of May... Thank you for remembering me and my son. I love you all. My nieces, sister, granddaughter and I went out to the gravesite today with a X-mas tree, decorations and candles. Aaron's GF pulled up at the same time (unexpected) and we hugged and cried. She brought the sweetest little tree that lit up. We decorated my son's grave, lit all the candles, and reminisced about the good times. Then my sister said a beautiful prayer. Everyone went home but his Gf and I stayed late into the evening talking and watching the candles flicker and glow. It was windy but the candles did not blow out. I felt he was there. It was really really beautiful. He was so loved. Memories remain within my heart and mind Of times so long ago Of things left behind Of people I have loved And lost along the way The spirit still lives on The love is here to stay It only takes a moment To restore what used to be Like Footprints in the sand They've left their mark on me Memories remain Forever they will be Ingrained upon my heart Where love resides in me.

Sounds really nice (((josie))) and I love the verse. I'm so glad you were blessed with feeling Aaron's presence and were able to share this time with others who love and miss him.
