I miss my dad

It's been almost 2 years since my father passed away. He was my greatest inspiration and also my best friend. We became friends while I was away in college- we really didn't have much to say to eachother in my younger years. He never told me that he loved me but I know he did. I'm happy that he knew my sons.

He's waiting for me but he has patience. I know he's in good hands now.

(((PackerFan)))

I'm sorry you're missing your dad, but it sounds like the relationship you had was such a blessing. Thinking of you and sending prayers.

hugs ~

deedee

Thank you deedee. Our relationship was a blessing and I'm glad that my father and I became friends and enjoyed some good times before his passing.

packerfan...i lost my mother 7 months ago....i, too did not get close to her until i was about 19...but in the 11 years since, we were best friends...i know how you feel and how much you miss him...that part seems to get harder instead of easier over time...i hope your grief has eased somewhat...and i will pray for you, your father, and my mother tonight...they are watching over us and are very proud....

good luck to you
