Mo

I know you haven't been here for awhile, but I was thinking of you today and send hugs and prayers.

I hope you're well.

Me too Mo ...

I know December is a hard month for you and you've been in my thoughts and prayers.

Hello Morning Glory, DeeDee and Ann-
Thanks for thinking about me. and acknowledging that this is a very hard time of the year for me. We went to Mariam's grave yesterday just to visit and and remember her life that was just too short .
I check in here every once inawhile-see some familiar names . .you guys have been so faithful to sharing the message of recovery. Ann I often think about you and your son. .
I took another job so I am not working day in and day out with addicts. have returned to school and will be graduating with my BSN in May 2007. Mariam's two little girls are very much a part of our lives and are doing ok. .they live with their Dad and he is doing the best he can to raise them.
And so life does go on. .never the same. .but I send you love and hope for peace and joy and much thankfulness that you were there with me during the very very dark times of my life. Mo

Mo, it just warms my heart to hear from you and please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers every day.

I haven't heard anything from my son, but like you say, life goes on and we can't live forever in darkness.

Even today, the strength and courage you shared with me are such an important part of my own recovery and I am truly grateful.

Bless you and your family this Christmas, Mo, and as I light my angel candle tonight I will spend a moment with thoughts of your Mariam and her husband and children.

I love you, Mo, and although we have never met, you are an important person in my life.

Hugs and Love

(((mo)))

I'm so glad to see your message and that you have a close relationship with Mariam's girls. Jason didn't have any children, but I receive great comfort from spending time with my other son's children.

As you said, things will never be the same, but with time and healing, joy and light return. My very best wishes to you and your family mo, and I think of you more than you know.

with love ~
