| Grateful for
I work really long hours at a job that I just absolutely adore. Today was busy, stressful, frustrating, stimulating. It blows me away that I, of all people, was blessed to be able to do what I do. I came home after dark, and as I drove into my driveway, I saw my little boy, my heart, come running across the street as fast as he could, grinning, because I was home. We played Monopoly, and he won (not because I let him, but because he IS the slum lord). I fixed him chicken nuggets, mini corn dogs, and tater tots (things he doesn't get often). Now he's in his room singing to Nickleback playing in his headphones....and this is how nearly ALL my days are now. I'm grateful for my life. linz
