I am so grateful that I am still here on earth to see how beautiful life can be from a sober side instead of the darkness that alcohol brought over me. There were times when I was drunk that I would think how wonderful it would be to fall asleep and never wake up again. The alcohol would numb me and I think that is why I enjoyed drinking the five out of seven days in a week. I finally realized I needed to stop when I started having blackouts and not remembering things that I have done or said. I know that I am grateful for all the people that I had upset for their forgiveness.

GLAD YOU CAN SEE THAT. MY WORLD WAS VERY DARK WHEN, I DRANK. BEING SOBER, SEEMS THERE;S A GLOW ABOUT ME.

yOU EVER HEAR {THIS LITTLE LIGHT OF MINE, i'M GOING TO LET IT SHINE}. THAT'S HOW IT IS FOR ME AFTER NOT DRINKING THESE PAST FEW YEARS
