I am thankful...

I am thankful that I am able to see the good in life, also I am grateful for family, friends, and most of all my faith in God who sees me through this roller coaster of a life.

I am grateful that I will soon be graduating from my outpatient services. I will miss my counselor, but not the groups.

Wow, that's pretty messed up that you have to worry about an ex reading everything you post. She must be pretty screwed in the head!

More than you will ever know.I dont know why I ever got involved with her.I saw all these red flags when I met her and ignored them. She has thrown a bottle through my front window, used my name and SS# in her attemps to commit identity theft agaist me and order things.I could go on and on. Since we broke up she went back to her ex husband having no where else to go.Pregnant with my child he took her back. After all that she moves in quits her job and is still unfaithful to him. So,with this being the gratitude list I am grateful I am not with her anymore. :hoo

I am so grateful for my friends here in NA and AA.I missed my meeting last night and today the phone rings."Is everything ok?" Yes everything is ok,I replied. "What are you doing tonight?" Not sure,no real plans.I say. "Cool, your having dinner with us" This really makes me feel good knowing I have people like this who care about me.

All I Think Of Is My Worst Day Sober. Remember What Got Us Here. If, We Forget What Brought Us Here We'll Do It Again That's A Given. If, I Never Have A Day In An Orange Jumpsuit Again I'll B Grateful

Today I am grateful that my using dreams were only dreams. I am grateful that I don't have them too often anymore. I am also grateful that I have a strong network of support to help me through any problems I may run into.

Today I am grateful for..........

Waking up and being able to give my hubby a kiss between his shoulder blades. I have him to thank for that, he never gave up, he wished he was dead but never gave up, he kept trying.

He says he has me to thank for that because he knew I was somewhere in the world, he had my name and would find me again when he wasn't drunk. BUT I KNOW he was the one that did it, I know I could never have done it for him - anymore than I can now.

I thank him for finding me again most days. I hope I get to say thankyou for a hundred thousand days to come.
