Bedtime Prayer

I grew up in a twelve step program, and in the last 5 days I have begun to look at things from my past to help me through today. This is a bedtime prayer I found that I had written over 21 years ago.

Thank you for caring me through today. For giving me the strength and courage to continue to improve my life.

Thank you for helping those around me, near and dear to my heart, deal with my insanity, for giving them the wisdom to know they can not change me, the courage to continuously support me, and the power to forgive the things I have done to harm them in the past.

Thank you for accepting me for who I am, and giving me the strength to change.

Thank you for tomorrow, because I know it is going to be a beautiful day!!!!
