Well, we had three guys that were at our treatment center die this weekend. One today, which I had become very good friends with in the last year and a half.
Grateful it ain't me just for today.

But for the grace of God.....
Grateful for the training I'll finally receive this afternoon after 4 months with my new job title. Yay! Grateful for the side work that rolled in this week too.

Elke, I'm so sorry about your dog. Three years isn't long for you but she had you for 21 years.
HD, I don't know you but still I'm always sad to hear when the disease takes one of us out. I like the Responsibility Pledge too.

SO sorry for your loss HD -- take very good care of yourself while you are grieving. 
- Grateful to hear from SW and to know he is doing fine.
- Grateful to have my granddaughter over tonight.
- Grateful for a sober, sunny, and productive day.
- Grateful for BBQ hamburgers for supper - it has been ages since I had that type of meal.
- Grateful for all of you.

((( Elke))) Saddened to hear of the passing of your furry friend. I'm grateful my life has been a slide show of pets, so many memories of dogs and other critters, and I'm grateful that sobriety has given me a caring heart big enough to hold a snapshot of every one of them.
