Always Grateful ~ Part 21
Grateful.... I am grateful for a lot right now.
I'm grateful for 8 days of sobriety. That hasn't happened in years.
I'm grateful for the support and encouragement I've found in this community. It's become a habit to check in every morning and every evening.
I'm grateful for the weekend I had with my daughter, doing puzzles, swimming, coloring, and not sleeping, hungover, and irritable at a 5 year old that didn't deserve it.
I'm grateful for my supportive friends that are closer then my family and have my back through this difficult process.
I'm grateful for the fog that is slowly lifting from my emotions, and FINALLY taking my time to better myself, more then recovery.
I'm grateful for today, this minute, where I can be successful, nice, supportive to others, and positive.
I'm grateful for the 10 pounds I've lost in a week, substituting alcohol with fitness.
