Hard to be grateful at present. I guess I am grateful to still be alive. On Friday I was hit by a truck, just drove straight into the rear of my car. The car is totalled and I was badly concussed and had whiplash. Been in hospital for a day or so and am now at home. All of my s called friends could manage no more than a Facebook message or a text.
This is the 2nd major car accident in 6 months, both not my fault, both times the car written off and also both times the trauma is awful.
Been alone at home all weekend, still slightly concussed and feeling so alone broke and spent. Sleeping hoping to not wake up.

Oh, Nogard, I'm so sorry! I'm sorry you were hurt. Whiplash is terrible.
I'm grateful that you shared with us, and I pray for a fast and full recovery, emotionally as well as physically. No wonder you feel so beaten down: two bad accidents within 6 months is horrendous!

Grateful that the neighbors finally stopped shooting off the fireworks at about 11:15 last night so I could get a few decent hours of sleep.
Grateful for another day sober.
