Met the Monster this week:) - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Well, to start my name is Bill, Grateful Bill as a matter of fact. I've been in recovery a hair over 3 yrs. It is a blessing to be that way!! In the short version, I faced the Monster this week, he is me, or was:) i faced a lotta stuff, oldstuff ,new stuff and came out this side in tact. I have an H.P.-Higher Power, which watches over me, us anyone who desires. To let go of things i needed to was the hardest thing I've evr done, but God as I understand him saw me thruough as in every day I live. I live in the today, so today is beautiful and I am grateful:) Just wanted to express that:) I am up to any discussion, the subjects are unlimited so,,,,,,, lets talk discuss or just B.S. This is what lifes about:) N/A hugs and love to all:)

thanks for sharing your joy and gratitude. An older lady around my neck of the woods always used to say -
"Share your pain it decreases, share your JOY it increases".

"Grate" words, Grateful Bill. Glad you are here!!! I, too, am grateful for everything my God has blessed me with. Had a rough day, but I am still clean and sober, and that is a wonderful thing!!!!
