Today I am very grateful for so many things...
Three incredible daughters who have managed to remain as sane as any teen can, throught what have been some very trying times for them. I am thankful that all three of my daughters are strong and healthy young women.
Today I am grateful for the love, understanding and forgiveness of good friends.
Today I am grateful for the glimpse of serenity that this website and forum have provided for me.
Today I am grateful for my common sense and strong instincts - they never let me down as long as I pay attention!
Today I am grateful for my favorite guy, Laz, who came to our family 15 years ago as close to death as any animal could be - today he is strong and healthy and I am so very thankful for that.
Today I am grateful for the hardtimes as well as the good times. The hardtimes have taught me valuable lessons about myself and others. The good times have provided me with peace, joy and laughter.
Today I am grateful and proud to be a survivor.

...."hitting bottom" and seeking help thru al-anon and sr
....wonderful co-workers - i actually enjoy going to work!
....a beautiful, sunny day that is forecasted
....my 3 furry children who provide unconditional love and support
....all the members of sr who respond with love, support, concern and knowledge

Today I am grateful to have summoned up the courage to attend my first Al-Anon meeting.
Today I am grateful that my A b/f has respected my wishes to only talk to him when he's sober
Today I am grateful to have my three daughters close by.
Today I am grateful for good friends who share and support openly and honestly.
Today I am grateful that I never succumbed to the lure of alcohol despite my family history of alcohol abuse.
Today I am grateful for the internet and all of the information, support, and virtual friendships that are so readily available at the click of a button.
Today I am grateful for my health, my home and my family
Today I am grateful for my strong mind and determination to move forward and recover from the issues that wounded me as a child.
