Thank You God for my 5 Granddaughters who are Sarah 17, Natalie 14, Samantha 14, Eve 11 and Nina 11 (twins). They are the joy and light of my life. So are my two daughters too, Laurie and Shannon. If I was not sober I probably would have never known them. If I was drinking I could have been an embarrassment to them and that's a tough thought to ponder for sure. The blessings of Sobriety are amazings. The sorrows are just life on life's terms to deal with as best we can. My Higher Power has brought me thru every time!!

To Ardy, My prayers and thoughts are with you and your difficulties. I have experienced this also and it's so painful. Saying the Serenity prayer helped greatly but I eventually developed high blood pressure and the Dr. put me out on leave. I never regretted leaving the job and God put something much better in front of me and my blood pressure improved. I knew He was there by my side the entire time. You will get thru this. Maybe pretend they are children because, as you describe it, they are acting like little kids. God Bless You!! God will keep you strong thru it all!!
