Bedtime Gratitude ~ Part 52
Grateful that Saturday nights are no longer spent getting blitzed until the early hours of Sunday.
Grateful for the early night I am about to have.
And as Marcher said, grateful that I won't be hungover in the morning.

Grateful for dancing lessons with our new friends. I'm clumsier than I though so I'm grateful my wife showed some grace. Grateful we went out for pizza afterwards.

Grateful to be going to bed early, tired, and sober! So grateful not to be drinking. Grateful for a sober day. Grateful for a yoga session with a friend who is a yoga teacher, and a long walk home, even though I was tired. Grateful I got some seeds planted in the greenhouse at work. So many blessings in my life! Feeling the best kind of tired now. Grateful to climb into bed soon and relax.
Grateful to have something others want...apparently. Someone else asked me to sponsor her today. It still amazes me.
And grateful I'm finally beginning to feel like I'm alive again. I had The Flu like a month ago and trying to get the rest I need to recover has been hard, but I think I've finally turned a corner. 'Bout time!

Grateful to have a spiritual experience after watching Joel Osteen this morning.
Grateful that when I think about how I used to be while drinking and everything I went through and finally getting and staying sober, I feel like I was touched by God.
Grateful that even in sobriety if I feel depressed, have problems, everything seems hard at times, that I should never give up on my faith.
Grateful to choose to have a better outlook on life.

Grateful that my partner is cooking dinner tonight.
Grateful for a thoughtful comment my partner made a little while ago. I assumed that he doesn't notice how tired I get trying to fulfil my current commitments (he's a man of few words!), but now I realise he does, and his brief but heartfelt comment was worth more than gold to me.
