Hurrah! Day 2 for me! Wouldn't be here if it weren't for the wonderful support from SR. My family loves me...but they just don't understand. Thanks to all of you here. I still have hope. Have a wonderful day.

Hurrah! Day 3. It was tough, but I shrugged off 3 compulsions yesterday evening. Today I'm more grateful than ever...although I'm dreading the compulsions I'm going to feel today.

It's also the obsessive thinking that leads to our picking up that we have to be careful with. For you know that once we pick up the first one, we're usually unable to stop. We are compeled to repeat the behavior, for whatever reason.

On my 15th day of being sober. Still have an anxiety attack here and there. Am grateful that I remained sober over a 2 day out-of-town trip. Plenty of temptation and didn't crater. Thanks to the support of good people on SR and AA.
