grateful that .....
.....even when i feel this way, when i see this thread and think "gtf - i ain't feeling too grateful right now", even now i guess i am grateful that i have a little hope, some awareness that if i look for it, i will find that there is always an alternative way to look at any given situation. that the way i see the world is not always from the healthiest perspective, and that you guys will tolerate me scribbling these thoughts aloud in here. thanks.

I'm grateful for the safe, paved walking path that starts just outside my house. I'm grateful that I actually thought to go for a walk today when I began to feel anxious. I'm grateful that it really helped.
Grateful to be going to bed sober. And that I live in a nice country, no war.
Grateful I made up with my honey.
Grateful for sr and AA.
Grateful for my family.
Grateful for my health and the opportunity to be a student
Grateful for my new job and trip to Cuba next month, need to see the ocean.

Grateful that I am learning how much better it is to get through a hard day, and feel the feelings, rather than try to block it out and numb myself.
Grateful that I am getting stronger every day.
So so grateful to be sober. ♥

Can I just say, "Ewww?!?!" Thanks for sharing, Astro! teehee.
Grateful for coincidences. I baked a not-intentionally-gluten-free pumpkin bread to take to a pot luck today and had invited an old friend to join us. This was at the mental health peer center and he had never been. Turns out he has celiac disease and CAN'T have gluten, so I gave him the bread I was going to save for myself. I think he was glad to have it since there were so many things there he couldn't eat and I was glad I could help.
And grateful for the dishes that everybody else brought, too!

Grateful that my kid sister's boy is visiting me and brother for the holiday. He's in grad school three hours away and can drive down to visit. My house is kind of boring, but he brings his laptop and has fun.
Grateful to have such a nice nephew.
