Bedtime Gratitude ~ Part 48
Grateful to be able to watch the wild rabbits playing outside as night time closes in.
Grateful that I don't have to get embroiled in tv soap operas, I can do so many other things, or even just go to bed earlier.
Grateful that there's always so much to learn, there's no room for boredom.

Grateful to tell my Dad I love him and am thinking of him. Today would have been his 63rd wedding Anniversary....
Grateful to take a step back when I was tempted to react today, (rather than respond,) which was frequently.
Grateful for beautiful, cool evening weather.

Grateful for a wonderful midday meditation class/session with a new teacher today. Just what I needed. And....
very grateful that the teacher also does bhakti yoga lessons, so I can pick up where I left off with the one who just left for grad school. I was so sad that she was leaving, but now I have a new teacher!
Love and hugs,
Eddie
grateful the altercation at the old HG tonight didn't get too out of hand
the F-Bombs and n the face BS was bad enough
grateful that when one of the people envolved, told me to mind my own business,
i didn't wild out on him
as it was a sponcee of mine, and newcomers were there

Grateful for a lovely day all to myself.
Grateful to be finishing up Day Five.
Grateful that hubby is eating grapes with me--maybe my "pancreas diet" will help him too!
Grateful to have SR to help me track this journey.

Grateful to have met a lovely lady who has started a cat rescue centre. I'm thinking of volunteering to help her in the future.
Grateful that my to do list at work has been organised in to bite sized chunks.
Grateful there's still plenty of runner beans to pick in the garden.

Oh, so grateful that I was able to really help a sponsee with developing an understanding of a Higher Power of HER own. We did her Third Step today and she sounded like she needed a "better" HP to keep on with the rest of the Steps...and with life. It was beautiful. I was glad I was there (even though I wasn't physically there).
And grateful for Takin' Over the Asylum, a short-lived Scottish show 20 years old, with a young David Tennant. Thank you, David Tennant's Companion, for hipping me to it!

I'm grateful for another decent sober day. I'm grateful for my patient husband and my darling dogs. I'm grateful that I will go in to work tomorrow without being all red and strung out. I'm grateful I'm losing weight--bit by bit.
Goodnight SR.
