Grateful that today was another sober day. Grateful that even with that "down" feeling today I still accomplished more than I thought I would along with making a great dinner out of the fresh veggies that are abundant right now.

Grateful that it's cooling down which will help for a good night's rest.

Bedtime gratitude.... I'm sober and feeling good. Just watched four episodes of the third season of Game of Thrones and it was AMAZING!! Also grateful for clean hair and a comfy bed. Goodnight, everyone!!

Hoping Eddie and Marcher are OK tonight.

Grateful for having and taking the time to prepare meals and bake for the week for my family. I enjoy having healthy homemade food ready for them. Great way to spend Labor Day. (boring but true;simple pleasures are welcome these days)

Grateful that I'm able to feel alright in the kitchen with a soda water or decaf coffee. Lovely to remember what the interesting radio shows and podcasts that I listened to while working were about...

Well, I WAS going to bed until I saw a HUGE spider crawl from behind my pillow (I wasn't laying on, thank goodness) and I just had to rip my whole bed apart to search for it. Found it, but sooo grossed out and my adrenaline is rushing. Ugh. It's already 1am. I'll be up for another hour to get my heart rate down. Lovely.

Just wanted to share. That was not a bedtime gratitude by the way.

Grateful to have gotten through a big cooking adventure with no wine!

Grateful to be able to spend some time with my kids and all their dogs...

Grateful my granddaughter was wearing the top I made for her today. She looked cute.

Grateful that we sat around the table in the kitchen and laughed just as much as we might had we been drinking.

Grateful that they aren't asking me why there is no alcohol anymore.

Grateful for how SR makes me feel.

That would freak me out also!

Grateful for hopefully killing a hornets nest last night at my outside front bay window by spraying hornet/wasp jet spray into the area where they come from.

Of course never do this during the day while they're still active!

Hopefully he dumped his resentments at the door!

Grateful for a short week. Even though I worked most of the long weekend I'm looking forward to a break this coming weekend (maybe!)

Grateful to be going to bed now, I'm so tired.

Grateful for a glimpse of the sea during my travels today, the coastline is beautiful.

Grateful that the printer worked this evening and we've printed off our boarding passes for our holiday flights. It's getting exciting. Only 3 days to go.

Grateful for all of the good things I have. Grateful that I can sometimes appreciate the difficulties too as they often move me to great learning.

Thanks again, Glad!! Did you bake anything for us? teehee.

Grateful I finally asked my ex-housemate to stop calling and texting me. I was getting a head and neck-ache every time the phone went off and I had to say ENOUGH!

And grateful I have not yelled at anybody again today although I have been ranting to God in the car and at home. I am so sick of all these needy people! I am so grateful that I know that God has my back and I don't need to cling and grasp at other people the way they do me. Not that I don't reach out to other people; I just am more able to do it without desperation and expectations. Makes life much easier, really.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful to try to accept what I cannot control. It is hard ...but little by little.... I will get there.

Grateful I looked at some options of other jobs online to try and give me perspective about mine.

Grateful even when my dog is being bad, and I try to sound stern, his funny face makes me laugh.

Grateful for the simple things in life - so many of them are overlooked, but when seen with my eyes or my heart, are greatly appreciated and enjoyed.

Grateful I went to work today feeling good

Grateful I got my me time and came on here to see my support group here giving me the words of wisdom I need.

Grateful I'm on a path to accomplish something only I can earn and I'm not letting anyone take that away from me.
