Bedtime Gratitude ~ Part 47
Astro!! You go!
Grateful I was able to invite my friend (who was in my town today for a conference) to come to my house on her lunch break. Even though I wasn't home (cause I am an hour north at work). She used to watch my dog a couple years ago and he loves her and was apparently overjoyed to see her. They sent me a selfie of the two of them. Haha.
Grateful I can have people come over when I am not home! When I drank I often wouldn't let people in the house even when I WAS home!
Grateful to not feel that horrible never ending shame.
Grateful for the new audiobook I started on my commute this morning. It is a reading of Kurt Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions and it is read perfectly by Stanley Tucci. It had me chuckling coming and going.
Grateful to relax at home with TV and some laundry. Peace.

That sounds (no pun intended) LOVELY! Do you have any pics? I didn't know you were a boater too.
Grateful for learning/figuring out some new mantras/chants to sing and play. I'm especially grateful for the album Samadhi by Osel which has been very helpful for my moving yoga AND my chanting. It's utterly amazing.
And grateful the power came back on just after I got up to start my day. I noticed it went out in the middle of the night and I enjoyed the dark and quiet (usually the street lights annoy me), but it was good to have it back on once the sun was up.
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful to do a bartering with a gal in my Complex...A roomsize rug she liked and I was sick of looking at....and her services as a housecleaner. Then I will have her, God Willing, clean the house regularly, if I can squeeze the funds from my budget!!! (Even tho we are bartering, I'll still give her a nice tip.)
I made coffee and we talked a bit before negotiating things. She comes from a really brutal background. So much abuse from her Mother; I feel so bad for her. She has a very nice husband now and Thank God for that. She left home at 15 and tried to make her way in the world alone. Fortunately, her Husband has a large family here in Poway. It's great to know that and she is lovely, I'm sure all of them adore her. I am glad to know her and hope to be close friends. God keeps planting Angels in my life who turn out to be in a time that they are much needed. I have no doubt of this....and believe I can be a positive influence in her life as well.

To Headlump,
I don't want to be nosey but am wondering if you have a lot of foot problems. I have Neuropathy...it took 10 to 20 years for it to escalate to the point that I knew what it was. Just checking and actually hope you don't. It's miserable. Blessings, Ippy

Grateful for the time to watch the sun set on another precious day.
Grateful for some really good sermons/bible studies on line, I'm listening to one each evening.
Grateful for an early night tonight, hopefully I'll be up before the alarm. I have to help my OH take out some windows before I go to work tomorrow so that he can paint them while I'm gone.

Thank you very much for your interest! I've just looked at Neuropathy on the internet. I really don't think I have it. I injured a tendon in my foot while I was jogging - I think I twisted it running uphill on loose gravel. It's much better now and virtually back to normal
I threw myself into jogging as I couldn't go to Zumba because I have a rotator cuff injury in my arm. Sadly, that isn't getting any better and I'm waiting for physio!
I'm really sorry that you have Neuropathy. It sounds pretty painful
Grateful to have seen my therapist today. I really like her.
Grateful for so many things. I feel very blessed tonight.
Grateful to turn in early as I didn't sleep well last night.
Grateful to read all your posts. This is a really cool group here! Thank you and nitey nite!

Grateful to see two of my neighbors' three bunnies across the street from here on my porch swing. I'm trying to see if they ever WALK or if they always hop...
And grateful for levitating today, at least feeling like I was levitating. It was a little scary, but definitely interesting, too. Actually, it was more like I was BEING lifted or PULLED up, not that I was doing anything myself. Chanting that Gayatri mantra really turned my day around! Thank you, God, for new experiences.
Love and hugs,
Eddie
