Morning Gratitude ~ Part 43
Grateful that my Daughter with the broken leg returns home to San Diego Friday. She will feel better in her own home and wants Mom to Mother her a bit. I will do my best but the Neuropathy makes it hard for me to do much! Glad my 17 year old Granddaughter is driving!!
Grateful for my A/C as it is going to be HOT today. Especially for Tixie the Cat. It would be too uncomfortable for her.
Grateful that I watched the movie "Heaven Is For Real" . The facts of the little's boy's visit to Heaven are compelling. It especially promoted Love vs Hate, Faith vs Fear, and One Day At A Time!! I could go on and on but I would just say it's a great movie!!

Congrats HeadLump on the 18 months!
Grateful that yesterday I hosted a party for a friend's 50th with relative ease. I cooked and hosted for 30 reasonably graciously (I think) and everyone had a good time. Sobriety made it so much easier to be both organised and gracious.

Congratulations Headlump, 18 months is something for me to aspire to, well done you!
Aly, I hope your retreat goes well. I'd love to hear about it when you get back home.
This morning I'm grateful for the rain showers, it will save me from watering the garden later.
Grateful that, although OH is not at all happy about us fostering my nephews cat for a while, he hasn't actually said "no".
Grateful to be able to discuss sensitive issues sober, what a difference it makes to everyone's wellbeing! Who'd 've thought it?

I feel the love in my heart
Grateful for the post by Purpleknight on the 24 hour club today which features some great love music.
Grateful for the huge gift of living sober in recovery from my illness/alcoholism.

Grateful for a cooler but still beautiful morning here in England
Grateful for a leisurely breakfast with tasty blueberries
Grateful to be going for a long walk later today in the new soft walking sandals my partner bought for me yesterday to commemorate my 18 months sobriety

Today I am grateful for making it to another birthday so I can reflect back over the past year and be grateful that I've been in God's care during all my recklessness with alcohol. As I continue to travel on this bumpy part of the road, I continue to get stronger. And I am grateful for that.
I am grateful for a wonderful Sunday with my husband - 4 hours with no one else around. And I am grateful it all began with the one tool I was missing - fellowship with others at a church service at a church we have never attended. We have been non-practicing for years, and to go somewhere out of our "norm" and together....I am, indeed, very grateful.
